Overview

See the add-on in action

A short overview of creating steel structures in ALLPLAN.

Capabilities

Steel, connections and sheeting — in one tool

A rich set of functions for coordination-level BIM design of steel structures.

A library of 16,900+ sections

I, U, Z, T, L, circular and rectangular sections — HEA, IPE, UNP, ROR, FLA, HEBT, Larssen and cold-formed.

Free profiles and orientation

Custom freeform profiles with any spatial orientation and rotation.

Perforations, cut-outs and stiffeners

Rectangular, polygonal and circular openings, custom cut-outs, stiffeners and flanges.

Connections at any angle

Horizontal and vertical connections, inheriting the angle of 3D elements and offsetting the system axis.

Bolted connections

Bolt sets, washers, hole and edge spacings, additional plates with webs, and reports.

Profiled sheeting and sandwich panels

Trapezoidal and corrugated sheeting, wall and roof sandwich panels with a variable level of detail.

Converting existing elements

Convert ALLPLAN elements (structural elements, 3D solids, timber/steel, macros) into profile parts.

Evaluations and IFC export

Quantities, weight, surface area, section type and length — with IFC export that preserves attributes.

ALLTO

Working on reinforcement?

The ALLTO line automates 3D reinforcement in ALLPLAN — slabs, walls, beams, columns, foundations and elevator pits. It is built for structural engineers: parametric PythonParts create the bars, sections and labels, and the quantities come straight out of the model.
